We work closely with our customers, partners and the extended Cisco Sales team to drive adoption and business outcomes. You will join the Cisco Solutions Engineering team working within our BeNeLux region with a specific focus to cover Luxembourg and Wallonia.

Your Impact

As an Account Solutions Engineer, you will focus on understanding customers' business drivers, goals and challenges and translate them into a differentiating improved technical architectural roadmap based upon Cisco's groundbreaking solutions. You will bridge the gap between customer needs and Cisco's technology solutions by co-designing, and optimizing solutions that drive customer success and business outcomes.

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their goals by sharing technical knowledge and guiding them throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures.
• Lead solution design across multiple technology domains, connecting customer business requirements to technical architectures that drive measurable outcomes.
• Participate in presales activities including RFI/RFP responses, reviewing and creating proposals, and positioning Cisco's value in outcome-based solutions.
• Understand customer markets and industries to identify growth opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Advocate for current and emerging technology solutions relevant to customer success.
• Collaborate across the full solution lifecycle: partner with account managers, sales specialists, and channel partners to shape winning opportunities; contribute to translating technical designs into successful implementations by working with Customer Success, Professional Services, and partners.
  

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Presales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Network Consultant, or similar), including direct ownership of technical discovery, solution design, and proposal development for enterprise or commercial accounts.
• Demonstrated design-level expertise in at least two of the following domains: Enterprise Networking (routing/switching, SD-WAN, wireless), Network Security (firewalls, SASE/SSE, zero trust, NAC), Data Center (compute, storage networking, virtualization), Collaboration, or Observability/Assurance.
• Validated experience designing end-to-end architectures that span multiple technology domains and translating them into business outcomes (e.g., TCO, risk reduction, operational efficiency) for C-level and technical audiences.
• Experience contributing to or leading the technical side of the sales cycle: RFI/RFP responses, bills of materials, proof-of-concept design, and competitive positioning.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and French. Dutch is a plus.
