About the Role
Join a high-performing Melbourne sales team and own the full new business sales cycle, from prospecting through to close. You'll help SMBs transform the way they engage with customers by selling Podium's AI-powered platform to business owners and decision-makers across a range of industries.
This is a true hunter role, ideal for someone who thrives on building pipeline, closing new business, and exceeding targets. You'll be joining a collaborative, ambitious team based in our Queen & Collins CBD office, with significant earning potential and a clear pathway into senior sales roles as Podium continues to grow across ANZ.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and business goals.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that showcase the value of Podium's AI platform.
- Build strong relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers, guiding them through the buying journey.
- Partner with SDRs and cross-functional teams to maximise pipeline conversion and deal velocity.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly revenue and activity targets.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and AI technology to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS or technology.
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle in a high-volume environment.
- Strong outbound prospecting skills with confidence generating your own pipeline.
- Excellent discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with business owners, CEOs, and senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong pipeline management and forecasting skills. ● Self-motivated, resilient, and driven by achieving ambitious goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high level of autonomy.
