OVERVIEW
CCS is a dynamic team of highly motivated individuals passionate about selling cutting-edge technology solutions to help our clients achieve their business goals. We are on the lookout for an Account Executive with a proven track record in technology sales. We offer an uncapped commission plan in addition to a competitive base salary.
What You'll Do
- Utilize various client acquisition methods (social selling, relationships, lead generation) to drive business with new clients.
- Develop new and repeat business opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Cultivate relationships with decision-makers, especially at the IT Director and C-suite level.
- Assist in building CCS's brand recognition with prospects, clients, and first-tier manufacturers.
- Understand and communicate CCS’s diverse product portfolio, including consulting services, first-tier manufacturer technologies, managed services, and staffing.
- Establish and maintain relationships with strategic manufacturing partners.
- Obtain and maintain industry sales certifications for CCS's first-tier manufacturers.
- Set meetings with clients to understand business requirements.
- Qualify sales opportunities, set customer expectations, and handle negotiations effectively.
- Communicate consistently with customers, managing a pipeline of opportunities and forecasting accurately.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to departmental expertise.
- Conduct demonstrations of various products and services to prospective customers.
- Stay current with partner registration programs and incentives.
- Understand purchasing processes, requirements, timelines, and funding sources.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- 10+ year track record of proven business-to-business sales experience, or hungry "newer-in-career" professionals on a trajectory for sales success with technology-centric, solution-oriented customers.
- SLED (State/Local Government, Education) sales experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in a "Sales Hunter" role with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
- Strong leadership skills, able to persuade and influence opinions while recommending optimal solutions.
- Driven individual with a track record of consistently achieving and exceeding targets.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to initiate, maintain, and grow business relationships.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with CCS’s Solution Consulting staff in presenting solutions and interpreting customer requirements.
- Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables, and pricing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- CRM experience.
